The annual Life, Justice and Peace Leadership Training workshops will begin this month to give parish leaders the tools and strategies needed to help them guide parishioners through the remainder of the 2016 election year.

The upcoming leadership training workshops will focus on how to bring respect for human life into the political conversation. The topics that to be addressed will include evangelization with charity, the parameters for political action at parishes and more.

The hours and locations for the April training workshops will be as follows: St. Augustine Church on April 18, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at 3850 Jasmine Ave, Culver City; St. Mark’s University Parish on April 23, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 6550 Picasso Rd., Isla Vista; St. Philomena Church on April 25, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at 21900 S. Main, Carson; Our Lady of Peace Church on April 26, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at 15444 Nordhoff St., North Hills; and at St. Therese Church on April 29, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at 1100 E. Alhambra Rd., Alhambra.
