Father Steven John Nyl, C.Ss.R. died Monday, December 16, 2019. Fr. Nyl was ordained to the priesthood in 2001. He served in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles as pastor of St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Whittier. His most recent appointment was in Baton Rouge as a member of the Hispanic ministry team.
