The public appearances,Masses and speeches of Pope Francis during his seven day trip to Cuba and the United States will be available to viewers on Time Warner Cable (TWC), thanks to TWC News’ uninterrupted coverage, available on the special Papal Visit Channel. The papal visit may be viewed on channels 199 and 299 in KIWI, New Wave and Insight.

On Sept. 20 at 8 a.m., the Papal Visit Channel launched with a telecast of Pope Francis’s Sunday Mass at Havana’s Revolution Square in Cuba. The coverage will conclude with Pope Francis’ departure from Philadelphia International Airport on Sept. 27.

Papal trip highlights will include the pontiff’s meeting with Cuban President Raul Castro.

During the pope’s visit to the United States, TWC covered the official welcome ceremony and meeting with President Barack Obama at the White House on Sept. 23, as well as Pope Francis’ address to the joint sessions of Congress on Sept. 24, his address to the United Nations General Assembly on Sept. 25 and his address at Independence Mall on Sept. 26, among many other scheduled events.

Additionally, TWC Local on Demand channel 1020 will feature religious documentaries as part of the channel’s special Papal Visit 2015 category. The shows will include Pope Francis’s background and papacy and the previous visits of Pope St. John Paul II and Pope Benedict XVI to the United States.

Cable television customers can access the category by tuning to Time Warner Cable Local On Demand channel 1020 and clicking on “Pope Francis.”
