On May 25, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul Los Angeles is hosting a 2016 Mardi Gras in May benefit dinner and awards ceremony to aid those in need.
The event will begin at 6 p.m. with a reception, followed by dinner and music from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The evening will feature the New Orleans Jazz Band and Second Line Parade. Business or cocktail attire suggested.
Honorees at the event will include Msgr. Antonio Cacciapuoti and the community at St. Bede the Venerable Church; Bernadette Gonzaque Robert, assistant vice president for student affairs at Mount St. Mary’s University; Kenny Lund, vice president of the Allen Lund Company; and Michael Concannon, general manager and senior vice president of Lendlease (U.S.) Construction, Inc.
