On May 15, St. Didacus School in Los Angeles dedicated a new school building devoted to incorporating technology into the school curriculum. The Jo Ann Malone Trust’s charitable contributions made the new educational center possible.
The Jo Anne Malone Technology and Media Center’s dedication ceremony drew a crowd of more than 200 school families, parishioners and community members. Auxiliary Bishop Joseph V. Brennan and Father Bob Garon led the blessing of the new computer lab.
“Our hope is that our students learn from Jo Ann Malone’s example of charity and faith and that they live those values throughout their lives,” Maria Garza, a school staff member, wrote in a school press release.
The reception guests also included neighborhood council members and members of the CCD and youth ministry.
