A series of free public classes will provide training on how to recognize and provide support to individuals and families struggling with mental health issues.
Licensed professionals from the Department of Mental Health will lead classes for the community and clergy members every second Thursday of the month. The next class will be on March 10 at 7 p.m.The South Coast Interfaith Council (SCIC), the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health are jointly presenting series.
