Lila Rose, president of Live Action which works to expose abuses in the abortion industry, will be the featured speaker at the Right to Life League of Southern California’s annual Benefit Dinner & Gala Oct. 13, at the Center at Cathedral Plaza.Archbishop José Gomez will be present to offer his blessings and support. Proceeds from the event will help fund the Pasadena-based Right to Life League’s critical women’s health programs and services, provided at no cost to pregnant teens and women in crisis pregnancies.Rose, one of the nation’s leading pro-life advocates, has dedicated herself to building a culture of life and ending abortion. At age 15, she founded Live Action, a youth-led organization which advocates for “human rights for the pre-born.” She has led numerous undercover investigations through Live Action, exposing corruption and illegal activity at Planned Parenthood, the nation’s biggest abortion chain. CNN featured Rose in a documentary, "Right on the Edge." She also serves on the board for the Queen of Angels Charitable Trust Foundation in Los Angeles.The Right to Life League is a non-profit education and service organization dedicated to the support and protection of human life. Since 1969, the Right to Life League has fulfilled its mission by providing critical educational and support services through its vital programs. The evening will kick off with a cocktail reception at 6 p.m., followed by dinner at 7 and then the speakers and program.
