Four school leaders from Ramona Convent Secondary School in Alhambra were recently able to travel to Quebec, Canada, to visit the historic sites that mark the roots of the school’s founding order, the Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary.

Ramona Convent celebrated its 127th anniversary with a trip to the French-speaking province of Canada, visiting the cities of Montreal and Longueil. The faculty and staff members were able to visit the grave of the order’s founder, Blessed Marie Rose Durocher, in Longueil, while also visiting the places where she was born and raised along the Richelieu River.

The four pilgrims are eager to share their experiences and stories of the trip with their high school students this fall semester.
