Fr. Paul L. Manzano, D.S.
Funeral Mass was held July 2 at St. Elizabeth Church in Van Nuys for Disciples of Hope Father Paul L. Manzano, 87, who died June 27.
Father Manzano’s ministry served in many different assignments in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles beginning in 1972. He is survived by his two sisters, nieces and nephews. Condolences may be sent to the Family of Father Manzano, c/o Disciples of Hope, 6220 Halbrent Ave., Van Nuys, CA 91411. Burial was at San Fernando Mission Cemetery in Mission Hills.
Clarence Hoynes
Funeral Mass will be held July 12, 11 a.m., at San Fernando Mission Cemetery chapel in Mission Hills for Clarence Hoynes, 80, who died June 29 after a long illness. He was the father of Father Richard R. Hoynes, administrator of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Chapel in Los Angeles. He is also survived by his wife, daughter, two brothers and five grandchildren.
A vigil and rosary service will take place at the San Fernando Mission Catholic Cemetery on July 11, 7 p.m. Condolences may be sent to the Hoynes Family c/o Fr. Richard Hoynes, St. Francis Xavier Catholic Chapel, 222 S. Hewitt St., Los Angeles, CA 90012.
