A Memorial Mass will be held Nov. 7, 10 a.m., at St. Brendan Church in Los Angeles for Michael Bolger, 86, who died Sept. 21. Born in New York City, he was a Marine veteran of WWII serving in China and lived in Los Angeles where he raised his family; Rogue River, Oregon, during retirement; and finally, Bellevue, Wash. Bolger, his family said, was a spirited, devoted and proud Irish Catholic family-man who offered everyone he met a twinkling smile, a hearty handshake and a good story. He loved work (as well as fishing) and took pride in a job well done.He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Dolores; sister Patricia (Joe); sons Pat (Sue), Tom (Nancy), Sean (Krista), and daughter Dorothy (Mike); seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
