This summer, high school students will study liturgy, music and liturgical arts in Los Angeles under the direction of The Liturgical Arts Ministry Project of Southern California (LAMP SoCal). The five-day workshop will be held from June 29 to July 3 with the theme, “For Ages Unending: The Ministry of Worship with Adolescents.”

LAMP SoCal seeks to mentor students in grades nine though 12 to become the next generation of Catholic leaders. The event will include instruction in the liturgical ministries of musicians, lectors, prayer leaders and altar servers. Students will also learn ways to put their faith into action and to develop multi-cultural awareness. The final day will conclude with a special liturgical celebration with families encouraged to attend.

The workshop will be located at Mount St. Mary’s University, 12001 Chalon Rd., Los Angeles. To register, please visit lampsocal.org. For more information, please email [email protected].
