Magnificat, a Catholic women’s ministry, will host a talk by Dr. Ross Porter on Oct. 10 at 10 a.m. Brunch will be served during the event.
Dr. Ross is a Catholic convert and former Presbyterian minister. A renowned author, retreat leader and speaker, Dr. Ross will share his conversion story and journey towards Catholicism.
The founder of Stillpoint Family Resources, Dr. Ross will also speak about how he was inspired to found the nonprofit after his firstborn child John Michael was born with Down syndrome. The organization was created to help others understand the unique blessings of a child with special needs while also offering assistance to their parents.
