Over the next several weeks, the Mary and Joseph Retreat Center in Rancho Palos Verdes will offer several day and weekend retreats as well as special events, including an Easter Sunday Brunch celebration.
On Easter Sunday, April 5, the Mary and Joseph Retreat Center will host a buffet brunch for friends and families from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Reservations are required by March 31. The cost is $26 per person for adults, and $13 each for children 4-12. Children under 4 are free.
The weekend retreat “Spice Up Your Spiritual Life with 5 Special Ingredients” will teach participants how to integrate and practice five energizing aspects for a more abundant spiritual life and “a new way of encountering God.” Presented by Father Jim Clarke, Ph.D., the retreat will be held April 10-12. The cost is $230 each for a shared room, or $325 for a single room.
“The Evolving Grace of the Mother/Child Covenant” is a day retreat for mothers and their adult children to spend the day before Mother’s Day renewing, reconciling and reaffirming their bonds. Presented by Father Ken Deasy, the retreat will be held May 9, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The cost is $55 each (or $50 if paid by May 1).
