Catholics suffering from failed relationships or the loss of a spouse are invited to join in a daylong workshop on July 18 from 8:45 a.m.-4 p.m. The Separated, Divorced and Widowed Ministry will host the event.
Participants will engage in a workshop led by Judy McCord, a marriage and family therapist, Father Patrick Hill, the spiritual director for the ministry, and Msgr. Jim Gehl.
The workshop will give those dealing with separation, divorce or the death of a spouse the opportunity to learn ways of healing with the help of God’s love and grace.
The workshop fee is $25 per person, which includes lunch and study materials. The retreat will be located at Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels, 555 West Temple St., Los Angeles in Conference Room #6. Parking is $8.
