The Classic Chevys of Southern California Club will raise funds for delinquent juveniles with Chevy’s 34th annual Classic Car Show on May 1 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The car show fundraiser will benefit Rancho San Antonio Boys Town in Chatsworth, a not-for-profit organization for troubled youth. The event will also serve as a Boys Town community open house.
L.A. City Councilmember Mitch Englander will open the event, which will feature 325 classic cars and hot rods, ranging from the 1930s to the 1970s; a color guard salute; the National Anthem; Boys Town’s signature barbecue lunches; a bake sale; silent auction; and vendors selling a variety of merchandise.
“Last year was our biggest show ever and allowed us to make a wonderful contribution to the Rancho San Antonio Boys Town. This year we’re looking forward to another successful event,” said Jim Stevens, Chevys club president.
