Catholic Charities’ Santa Barbara Region/Ventura County advisory board recently held its annual retreat at San Buenaventura Mission in Ventura, hosted by Father Tom Elewaut, pastor and board chaplain.
The Ventura County office is headed by Patrice Esseff, program director, and Frank Bognar, Catholic Charities’ Santa Barbara Regional director. Also serving on the board are treasurer Robert and Patty Berry, and Rob and Anne Devericks, Our Lady of the Assumption, Ventura; Daniel and Tracy Boyd, Ron and Kateri Lawson, and Deacon George and Sherrie Esseff, St. Mary Magdalen, Camarillo; Michael and Willaine Conroy, Padre Serra, Camarillo; Michael and Mary Ellen Cosenza, Holy Cross, Moorpark; Michael Ford, and Brian and Diana Hill, Sacred Heart, Ventura; Richard and board president Janet Maulhardt, Santa Clara, Oxnard; and Maria Peate, St. Paschal Baylon, Thousand Oaks.
