Archbishop José H. Gomez will lead the City of Saints Teen Conference from Aug. 5-7. Pre-registration began Nov. 1.

The three-day event is an opportunity for local young people to deepen their relationship with Jesus and to discover what it means to be called to sainthood in their everyday lives.

The conference will feature dynamic speakers, Mass, the recitation of the rosary and liturgical music, among other activities. The event is set in an atmosphere where teens can learn about and experience the Eucharist and the beauty of the Catholic faith.

The event will be held at the UCLA Conference and Training Center, located at 330 De Neve Drive, Los Angeles. The cost is $200 per student, which includes conference admission, meals and housing.

“We are children of God, we are men and women of faith and we are called to greater things: we are called to really change the world,” said Archbishop Gomez said in anticipation of this year’s event.
